Cramming

I've just finished reading all three chapters, doing all suggested practise problems, and taking a practise quiz for each chapter in preparation for my Organic Chemistry test tomorrow. Wahooooo!!!!! If I'm not prepared now, I never will be. The only thing left is to quickly review my notes before the test tomorrow morning.

Now if only my note card for physics was ready I'd be good to go for both tests.

Insomnia

Awake at 2:43 in the morning, Crazy? Yes. But I can't think of a better thing to be doing than chatting with my brother who is also awake. Our late night conversations are what keeps us close and I wouldn't trade them for anything. So tonight I'm thankful for a fabulous brother that I can talk about anything with!

Anti-social

The problems with being anti-social:

1. You miss out on some fun and humorus experiences.
2. You have no one to distract you from yourself.
3. When you do want someone there, no one knows.

Creative Capitalism

There was an article in Time Magazine about a speech Bill Gates gave at the World Economic Forum. Reading the article got me interested, Bill Gates tends to have good ideas about how to improve our world so I searched online and found the speech that he gave. His idea on Creative Capitalism is one that he is trying to lead by example. The main idea is that corporations combine self interest with world interest, profit with service. Just as Bill Gates has been revolutionary in business he has also been revolutionary in service and he want all corporations to join him in this cause. If corporations tried to combine self interest with service our world would improve drastically helping all. Bill Gate's idea impressed me and I hope that it has impressed many more people. Our world needs every hand to work toward improving the lives of every person. If we all looked out for our own interests but also tried to balance that with helping others, everyone would be happier and our world would be a better place to live.
